Introduction
Internet marketing is an elective course directed at integrating market
strategy, research, sales and advertising concepts into the development of an actual site for conducting
business on the Internet.
The course is structured as a set of
learning activities that focus on developing and implementing a strategy
for an Internet business.
A term project is required that develops a business website.

- Understand the Internet and Areas of Growth
- Conduct a Competitive Analysis and Audit of Internet Marketing Efforts
- Segment Internet Customers Using Attribute and Benefit Analyses
- Develop a Sales Process for the Internet
- Understand Principles of Internet Site Design and Layout
- Develop Message, Theme, Headlines and Copy for an Internet Site
- Develop Graphics for Web site Construction
- Demonstrate the Use of Web Site Addons: Search Engines, Databases
- Set up a Commerce Site, Order and Purchase Forms
- Know How to Find and Set up an Internet Server
- How to Conduct Audits and Obtain Feedback from Your Site
- Develop Internet Strategies for Expansion and Growth
