The documents in this file present sites that provide HTML editors that may be used for implementation of your own website design and development. We indicate that the products available are freeware, shareware, or must be purchased. The sites are intended to help you in selecting an editor so that you might develop your own site. But remember, the development of a site is an art. You will learn most rapidly by modifying the work of others so that you will understand how changes in specific commands work. Why invent mediocrity when you can learn genius? Learn and then improve on it.
- Arachnophilia gives you two choices: Create Web pages the old-fashioned, do-it-yourself way with the fine set of HTML tools included. Or drop an RTF document onto the program window and watch an "instant" Web page appear. Lets you preview your work on up to six browsers. (Freeware/Windows 95)
- Form Tutor is a five-lesson tutorial for learning about forms for Web pages. It takes you step-by-step through text forms, radio buttons, check marks, pull-down, scrolling lists and more. (Freeware/Windows 3.1x)
- CoffeeCup HTML Editor provides 50 animated GIFs and Javascript built in. A color wizard. Drag and drop interface. Multiple page creation. Much more. (Shareware/Windows 95)
- Homesite HTML Editor HomeSite is a 32-bit HTML editor for Windows 95 and NT 4.0. Full Featured... It's what we use here.(Version 1.2 is Shareware, Version 4.0 is not)
- HotMetal Pro HTML Editor Evaluation Version Download
- Microsoft FrontPage. Frontpage Express is provided with IE4.0
